The Rand Cricket Club was formed on the 12th of September 1925. The first meeting was held at the Rand Bake House. About 15 people were present, which included P.Duffy (as Chairman), Alf Townsend and Stan Hague Sr. who was elected Secretary/ Treasurer. It was decided that membership would be 10 schillings (½ pound) and that the club would join the Brocklesby & District Cricket Association (BDCA).
Prominent among the players were George Cooper, Stan Hague Sr., Joe Williams and early in the life of the club Aubrey May, a fast bowler with much experience.
A Grade Premierships were won in 1951-52, 1973-74 and 8 in a row from 2012-13 to 2019-20. B Grade won in 1986-87, 2012-13 and 2015-16 and the Juniors won in 1998-99.
The BDCA and Holbrook District Cricket Association merged for the 2018-19 season to become the CAW Hume competition.
